Our Panelists
Sherry Wyckoff is the Vice President of Operations at Sun River Health, where she leads with a deep commitment to accessible, compassionate care. She holds a Master of Public Health and previously served as a Research Coordinator at NYCAMH, focusing on the health and well-being of migrant populations. She brings both professional expertise and personal passion to her work, inspired by her roots and her love for the outdoors. Sherry is a devoted mother of two and grandmother of four, finding joy and balance in both her family and her mission to improve community health.
Helene Dembroski is the Owner/Operator at Dembroski Orchard, Inc. in Plattekill, NY. She has more than 20 years of experience working in apple production and packing.
Dr. Kathy Sexsmith is an Assistant Professor of Rural Sociology at Penn State in the department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology, and Education. Her research examines workplace safety and health, access to healthcare, housing, employment conditions, participation in sustainable agriculture, and other facets of immigrant farmworkers’ well-being. Her work centers on community outreach and advocacy, working closely with organizations that support under-served populations in agriculture.
